    Question Car kit antenna

At the weekend I fitted my hands free kit for my phone. Fitted perfectly (thanks to autosparks MASSIVE thank you ), it works bang on and turns the volume down whilst taking a call and then turns it up once done. I don't think I've done much of a bad job. Did cringe when I had to screw the cradle to the dash . But I've gotta keep the astra for another 4 years at least so I'll worry about it then.

Anyway it has the connection for another antenna. I don't want my car to look like a taxi so I'm trying to get a covert one. But I can't find any reviews on any or tech specs to find which one will give me max DB gain. I'm also struggling to find places to buy them from. Can anyone help me find somewhere to buy one from and guide me as to a nice covert one to buy?

    Thanks in advanced

Failing that, try giving SelcoUK Ltd a call.. They're based in Bury, but I'm sure they will post stuff out.

I'll second the above - i buy/sell loads of car kits and would recommend that one time n time again. its really discreet and works a treat. far better than the tax disc ones if u ask me.

    Hi
have you ever seen inside a modern GSM antenna????
they're an absolute joke they do absolutely nothing
they come from the bottom of your phone then go down a lenghth of cable, and end in 'NOTHING AT ALL' its just a piece of wire that just ends

its the biggest CON in the phone industry not one bit of your signal is boosted or modified in anyway wotsoever.

save your money mate just look around and you'll see how many antenna's their is around you.

i totally disagree with that statement, ran for a few weeks with no aerial and signal was crap, got aerial same as autosparks showed and signal has improved
