This teaches me for not waiting till I have got every thing, and using a "make do bit".
Topping up my gear box oil today took the reverse switch out, topped up my oil, didnt have a new sealing washer for the reverse switch, and didnt want to use the old one as it wasnt tip top. So I used a spare sump plug washer. Not thinking the switch isnt solid peice but hollow, I screwed it down went to tighten it up and snap the switch is broke, leaving the remaining switch in the gear box.
Basically the washer was to thick so the locking nut wasnt far enough down so it just snapped.
Luckly I manged to get the remaing thread out, just means I can not use my car until I get a new peice.
Serves me right though.
