    **Side skirts done pics**

    As in the other thread last week, i took my side skirts off and i preped them and sprayed them and fitted them on friday.
    This is the only pic i have at the moment but will post more in this thread when i do get some, what yas think?...

    looks good but a splitter is needed to follow the colour round at that level really IMO!

    Looks good mate, Have you thought about the Irmscher front splitter and rear bumper extension bit thingy

    and before anyone else says it "Don't" colour code the bump strips. I think it gives it a nice contrast in silver

    Spray em black instead, so they dont grey and tired looking.

    They dont have time to go grey mate, im out there nearly every day with the black bumper gel on them lol.
    I have thought about them but i just want to see what its like lowered first. I was thinking just getting a gsi front and lower it.

    Looks spot on, makes such a difference on a silver G and SO much better leaving the rub strip black.

    did they spray ok as they are rough plastic . was going to do this was told they are not the best ...

    its all down to preperation at the end of the day - as long as u sand the surface well enough and get a good key then the rough surface wont be an issue. Have a look in the How To's regarding painting interior plastics - its a similar process.

    Looks good from the photo mate, nice one. Just a few questions as I want to do this now to save a few pennies in bying new ones that wil have to be sprayed anyhow.

    Sorry georgie but can't find the guide on painting interior plastics.

    klx boy what primer / key did you use and does the colour look flat compared to the rest of the car or is it possible to make the skirts look metalic from their plastic beginings?
