    Arrrrgh rattles

I think i have all the known rattles the astra interior has to throw at me.
does any one know the cure for.

Rattle/Buzzing at the windsreen. when i rest my hand on it, it stops. its the plastic trim that sits on the dash with the demister vent in. i cant see and screws on it to tighten. any ideas?

rattle from the central dash round the MFD. once again if i rest my hand on the top of the MFD it stops. i've heard there is a way of stopping it. any ideas?

Other than that the interior is great, so these are really ruining it at the mo.
    cheers

Just wedge the offending parts with a bit of cardboard.

On the centre console - just wedge it down the very top at the back edge, as that's where the clip is. If you push it down below the surface of the dash you wont be able to see it.

As for the demist vent - same process, but you'll have to find the best place yourself

yeah thats what i'm thinking. i got some dark grey foam/padding type stuff i can cut it as thin as necesary. should i push just down the back(toward windsreen) or down each side. so i can wedge it forward or backword

On the console - just down the back, right at the top of the curve, where it meets the dash. Normally it just needs pulling forward a bit to tighten the clip up, so the packing will provide the added pressure on the clip
