Have you been sitting in the passenger seat??

Unlock the car, open the drivers door and close it again - now try to deadlock

It assumes you're silly and about to lock the keys in!!!

So won't let it be deadlocked - cos then the door can be opened by a mechanic without breaking the glass!!

It's a second stage of locking - which stops the door being pryed open, or the lock forced. I think it works by actually disconnecting the lock from the handle - but I could be wrong.

It means the car can ONLY be opened with the same key that it was locked with!

Deadlocking disengages the door pins from the lock mechanism - so in the event of the glass being smashed (or whatever), the pins can't be pulled up to open the doors.

hehe just think if u have a 3 door and u deadlock someone in the car , theres no way of them getting out with out braking something

dont try this, the person may get mad and kick sh*t out of your car lol

They wouldn't need to kick the sh*t out of your car. I imagine letting off the handbrake just enough to make your car roll a little would be enough incentive for you to open the door again!!
