    PC 5.1 surround sound speakers

I managed to set up my surround sound speakers and they were all working fine, log on the other day and only the front left and front right are working. I go to check the driver settings and the driver for the surround sound has vanished

When I try to uninstall the software it wont let me and when I try to reinstall directly over the old files it doesnt install the new driver.

Any ideas what I could do? A systems rollback? But woulnt I loose all files since then?

If you are using xp then try the driver rollback feature.. No files are lost and then you can try and reinstall the software/drivers that came on the cd..

    Left-click the Start menu
    Click the Control Panel
Double-click the Performance and Maintenance icon
    Double-click the System icon
    Click the Hardware tab
    Click the Device Manager button
Expand the device menu you'd like to roll back
Double-click the device whose driver you want to rollback to bring up its properties
    Click on the Driver tab
Click on the Roll Back Driver

Also what make is the kit?
