you can't trust any of the thieving little ****s...

    (1) reasons never to leave your horse wagon parked up in Tow Law - they don't just steal the wheels....

    (2) Joe realised too late that he had pulled away a little too sharp

    (3) that fat horse would HAVE to go...

Any other caption ideas LOL. I just couldn't resist this one, sorry about the crappy image quality it was on my mobile camera. The old engine/cab had just about had it so Joe bought another HBC write-off (stolen recovered I believe) truck - an Iveco - and chopped the body off, then today he chopped off the good body from the old ford cargo 0813 wagon, dragged the old cab out from underneath it and now needs to put the new Iveco under the old body and attach it.

Don't worry no one stole our old 0813 > he just had to rip the back wheels off to get it out from under the body! now off to the scrappy she goes...

< Left: new Iveco cab, middle another former HBC write-off belonging to boss's brother (we may have to borrow it until our change-over is done) and right: the old body we're keeping.

Go on guys, any more captions?

BTW the guy doing this (just about single handedly) is the same guy who bought and restored the scrapheapchallenge for me.

You thought I was joking when I typed that yesterday? I couldn't repeat the joke pic as he'd already got this far by lunchtime today! :

Link to the rest of the pics anyway:

for a living he owns one of the area's biggest building contractors, he used to be a senior engineer at rolls royce, but just restores crashed cars as a hobby as something to do in the evenings (although the horsebox he is doing for his daughter's business) He gets bored if he hasn't got a car to play with so once one is finished he goes and gets another one, either for himself or to sell once it's done.

I can't remember how much he paid for the jag, but he has spent a LOT on not just restoring it but improving on it's standard state so it is now pretty heavily modified, pulls about 500bhp. Scary machine! (He's done two jags now, the XKR and an XK8 that he also wanted to keep but ended up selling)
