unlucky weekend with my car continues....

ok so some of you will know that on friday night the white alcantara / leather interior of my coupe got covered in sick - yuk - well anyway, spent sat cleaning it all out so its clean and nice again. sat night on way home from clubbing hit a nasty pot hole and my tyre instantly blows. great. the spare is now on. going to attempt to claim from the council - the state of edinburgh roads is a joke to say the least. standard wheels on my car, and I get a tyre blow out going 30 at most. does my head in! anyway, the coupe turbo's spare is on - strange design - not similar to the standard rims at all?? why!? makes the brakes look huge though ( spare is a 16" alloy )

    should look like:

a turn for the better today as dave ( d_dave ) very kindly came round to fit some new fronts that have been lying around my place for a very long time. so the car has been treated to some uprated rainbow components ta dave

Unlucky with the wheel mate, god knows how mine have survived with the roads down my way

Strange how some coupe turbo's get the steel spare and some get the alloy

According to EPC there's a 16" version in both 4 and 5 stud fitment for the hatch and saloon.

A 17" 5-stud wheel is also available for the hatch and the coupe. The coupe version says it's used on Zlet's only and the hatch wheel is used on GSi's......weird

let me know how u get on claiming. the state of the roads is a bloody joke, especially when everyone has to pay so much road tax along with the tax on our fuel.
