First Pics. Chrome rings and Stereo

A shot of my new stereo with remote display and steering wheel controls and just installed the chrome rings i got this morning. looks quite good against the black i reckon. Just the leccy mirrors, illuminated sun visors, shiney gear knob and map reading lights to go.

VDO head unit came with an EDI. i had to saw the top plug away from the other 2 on the stereo loom and plug it into the adapter so the display would work, but no controls. so went to VX to see which wire was for the remote. got the answer. so i clipped the very bottom left wires on the bottom plug(i think). connected to the SWRC(Steering Wheel Remote Control) wire on the EDI and bingo. if anyone is having problems with a VDO stereo feel free to ask

that doesnt matter, you can get hold of them to use ure remote display. is it really worth it though? cost apporx £40. you can get hold of them through most audio retailers if you do.
