    Ear Syringing

No this isn't another Lovin Astra Sport thread.

Just wondering if anyone has had this done? What does it entail and does it hurt? The doctors given me some ear drops and made me book an appointment at the clinic for 2 weeks on thursday. However the ear drops seem to have buggered up my hearing completely. I cant heave anything unless its shouted to me. Is this a usual side effect?

Go back to the docs. You may have swelling in the ear or an infection. In which case you'll need a bout of anti-biotics.

    Cheers for the link Sploodge.

I think I will give them a call on Monday Simon. Due to start work in a call centre soon so I obviously I want everything sorted by then.

The drops have probalby softened some wax and it's ran and settled on your ear drum - hence the muffled sound

bit of a wierd sensation though, noisy rushing sounds and if there's any inflammation already it can be a bit uncomfortable, and your ears drip for ages afterwards!
