I have a inxx one from supernovas, took some fitting but transformed the handling of the car and for £45 was a bargain

The only thing that puts me off is the drilling, are there any braces that dont need drilling?

Not for the Mk4 mate. You could try "No more Nails" I suppose

I have the same as Darren, the Raid version. I think it's better made than the Inxx one and also better looking but that's a personal view which others disagree with. Fitting is fairly straight forward, getting the nuts onto the bolts can be a bit fiddly but small fingers can get round it. Use a lot of grease on the bolts as they are subject to a lot of water spray etc so can rust easily. Only fit one side at a time as the thing moves ever so slightly sometimes when it's tightened down and if you've drilled the other side as well the holes don't line up. Ignore the instruction to drill a 10mm hole as the bolt is only an 8mm and it flops around in a 10mm hole.

Fairly easy to fit as said, just needs a few tweaks to get the fus boxes out of the way.
