    Bought a french car today.

Treated myself to a new car today.

A friends step dad was selling it, and it was so cheap I thought I could buy it to make a quick buck on

Im collecting it tomorrow, and I will be the proud owner of a white P reg 5dr renault Clio 1.2 'Oasis'.
1 previous owner, good tax and test and 95k on the clock.

Quick clean and tidy up should see a very good profit back. Its and ideal car for any learner drivers, with the added bonus of 5drs

I'll update this thread with pictures as and when I clean it.

Nice one. I'm considering doing the same. Just gotta get me some good detailing gear. It's amazing how many shabby cars with straight bodywork go for peanuts. Steam clean the seats, clean the carpets, clay the paintwork and polish and you can get an old faided car to look so much more desireable.

If you can transform paintwork from this....

.....to this..., then you're on a winner.

I've been trying to blagg the old couple down the road for years of their Nova 1.2 spin i think it is. Immaculate with 21,000 miles from NEW !

Needless to say they wont part with it, with any luck they'll kick the bucket soon !

Not bad, if there's no rust and the panel work is straight, get detailing and you'll get £750 for that at a push.

Very nice buy. Something I've always wanted to do but never got round to, there is clearly money to be made.

    Cap Clean - £560
    Cap Average - £520
    Retail - £1495

Them prices are on an RN model too, although mine is Oasis.

Does anyone know if you can sell a car without having the V5 back in your name? I dont want to waste time in waiting for the V5 to come back with my name on you see.

Wait for it. It'll only take a few weeks.
