    Freshening up the Interior

    Hi Guys

Just bought a zaffy GSi (don't think I'll ever get bored of saying that!!) and the previous owners were obviously smokers

Cause when you open the door and get in, you can smell it.

Any ideas on the best way to get rid of the smell other than an air freshener, which I don't really like.

    Cheers

the smell will be in the seats and carpets & headlining.

I would be tempted to get a pro valet on the interior which included a steam clean on all the upholstery..

I'd get it valeted if your feeling lazy. Or just get hold of some decent interior shampoo and clean the seats and carpet. Better than just masking the smell.

I use some stuff from Ambersil that I found in Halfwits, black tin with orange lid. Can't remember the name sorry, and it's outside in the garage!

lol, i bought Gem (Jus' girlie) a tigger Air freshener yesterday. Didn't even know you'd posted this thread.

Best way to get the smell out would be a professional valet.....maybe the same chap who did the Corsa?

If you need his number again....text me.

Didn't buy it for you anyway.

If you want to spend money.

GET AN ALARM! It stays yours then. Get the smell out later!
