    Clunky gear changes

My motor is nearing 50k and due its 3rd service (not done the cambelt/rollers yet money, weddings and stuff.) I have recently noticed it started to be a bugger to get into gear sometimes usually 1st or 2nd but have noticed in all gears a pronounced double movement in getting it to change gears. Sometimes its hard to put in and others it just drops in as if theres no gear there (if you know what i mean)

Its worse when i first start off is this going to be the selector or maybe gearbox oil as last service at 34k

    Any ideas please.

Def get the gearbox oil changed first, vx tended to underfill the gearboxes at the factory and the dealers very rarely top them up on the pdi, mine was notchy when i first got it and when i checked it i managed to get at least another half litre in till it was up to level and it cured my probs.
If your not having your service done by vauxhall make sure the garage puts the correct oil in, it differs between gearboxes and is important !
Got a list of the gearboxes and oil part no's at work somewhere

Sorted, got them to top up on the service and seems fine for the time being. £220 for the cam belt kit to be done what a rip off only costs £70 for the kit the rest labour.
