    Question Calling all McGard Owners

I thinking of buying a set of the Mcgard Locking Wheel Bolts can anyone confirm if these are the correct ones for my MK4 Astra. I have found out the size from the www.mcgard.co.uk website below

    THREAD SIZE - M12 x 1.5
    SHAFT LENGTH - 24.0 mm
    KEY HEX Size - 17
    PART NO. 27204

Could anyone check the packaging if they still have it.

    Many thanks.

    Mine are 27179su
Same spec as the ones above. Would be useful to know what wheels your putting on too, as it all depends if they have a rdiused seating or a tapered seating in the lug holes. 99% of aftermarket wheels out there will be tapered though.

IIRC the part no. you've got there is for a slightly different design of McGard that isnt as good as the one I've given.

personally i think 24mm is too short - i think the standard vx ones are 23mm and the ones supplied by aftermarket wheel manufacturers is 28mm.
so if they are for std fit vx alloys then id say yes they are correct. if aftermarket wheels then im not so sure.

maybe i'm wrong cos i aint got myself a set yet. all i know is the wolfrace bolts i use on my 18s are 28mm long and the std vx bolts are 23mm so make up ur own assumptions.

as Jace has already said u need to tell us which wheels they are for and what dimensions etc

So long as the bolts make 6 full turns they're fine.

Er, if I'm brutally honest I've never compared em. But they don't catch on anything behind the hub.
