    Astra 2.2 Vs BMW Z3 2.0

Hey guys, i had a drag race against a Z3 and beat it by a car length, the other driver had no comment, he said good race and no excuses, i was expecting it to beat me due to the power being 150 standard and the weight, rwd and a sports car, anyway i was well chuffed! if we had kept going i think id have got even further in front

has any other 2.2 Astra raced a 2.0 Z3 ? how did it fare ?

thats what i thought, but he raced a few times and said it was a good race like he was driving optimum to his skill, we raced down hill.. weather that had anything more to do with the weight of mine helping i duno. just looked on parkers and the 0 to 60 is 8.6

Certainly wouldn't be much in it - would definitely come down to driver skill who makes the best gearchanges etc.

2 litre Z3's arent very impressive... neither are the smaller engined merc coupe's.... im not a fan of public road racing but my mr2 can take those cars rather easily... tends to p*ss the drivers off lol
