    Could be an oil leak?

    Sorry mate, couldn't resist.

Could it be the sump plug washer? Have you worked out where exactly it's leaking from? Maybe give it a bit of a clean up underneath so you can see exactly.

check your intercooler pipes for splits as they tend to collect oil after a while.

That far forward points to being a oil return to sump from the turbo pipe leak. Its quite common for these to leak a little, but that much overnight, may mean you have damaged your turbo.

Have a look at the middle of your turbo from the top, and see of you can see any evidence of oil, this may mean you will start the modding a little sooner than planned..........

I'll have a closer look. The car hasn't moved for about a week so its not losing a great deal. Looks like VXR turbo might be on its way sooner than I thought

After some further investigations it would appear to be a sump issue:

Whats the damage for one of these things then?

Check the sump bolts are tight. On the C20LET they had a habbit of loosening themselves. You might be lucky, as sometimes just nipping them up can fix the problem.
