    What does Heak Soaked mean?

Subject says it all really! Just read a RR report and the slightly lower Torque curve was blamed on the car being Heat Soaked or something like that!

The higher the engine bay temperature the lower the power will be.

Low air temperature gives denser air so more oxygen

As lee says this sounds like hot air in the inlet.....

Does the car have a K&N that is not heat shielded ?

Assumed it was something like that........ its not my motor, just a group Coupe ones i found on the t'intraweb

Was considering having my 2.2 re-mapped, but am coming to the conclusion that its perhaps not really worth it...... Would only be interested if i'd notice the difference and looks unlikely.
