    mirror base plates

does anyone know if it's p[ossible to get some base plates for a coupe? or am i limited to the mirrors solely available for the coupe?

It means if i change my mirrors, they will be nearly the same as every other coupe with after market mirrors

well either way you would have to modify the base plates to fit the wing mirrors you were trying to fit.....

so just go down a scrappy and get a set of mirrors and get medieval on them

i'd love to, i really would but i am ABSOLUTELY useless at putting things back together. i'm shit hot at taking things apart, and that where the probs start. I would like a set of SLR mirrors or somethin similar but there isn't any for a coupe

but my point is they aren't just going to "slot on" to whatever mirrors you buy.....

you will HAVE to mod them yourself to fit, so why not start with a pair from a scrap yard seeing as they would need cutting up and mashing about anyway.

yes, but the whole point of this thread is that you don't want coupe specific mirrors isn't it?

you want to adapt a pair of non coupe specific mirrors to fit the coupe....
