    Question rev counter!!!

    my car don't have a rev counter as a standard, is it possible to change my dials with the one with rev counter?!

    Pretty sure they are plug and play.

    What year and trim is it as someone may correct me and say some modles dont support a rev counter.

    yep it appears they all have the loom in place for the rev counter. Find a nice set of 140mph ones or even 160mph ones if you want to be posh.

    i think the car immobilizer will give him problems if he swaps the clocks

    i done this job to a wee 2002 corsa and the car would not start till i swaped it back again

    the guy only wanted the white dials so i took it to bits and just swapped them

    not sure if its the same deal with the astra

    Doubt it, you could always test it against a GPS unit though if you can borrow a TomTom or similar.

    I fitted a set of 160mph clocks in mine the other month and they were +1mph out all the way up the range compared to a TomTom speed reading
