sorry to do a bit of a hijack, but I have also have some wind noise coming from my N/S rear window. Does anyone know how to remove the rear window on a mk4 3dr hatch and re-seal it? and what would be the best 'gunge' to reseal it?

can you pin point where the noise is coming from? Ie I know that my windnoise is coming from the NS rear window.

as you did with the doors, you can also wind in the boot shuts, this will seal the boot a little better.

Wind noise tends to be associated with the coupe, but ive never heard of it being a problem on the hatch?

My Old astra was very quiet imo. As has been said - can you not pin point the noise?
