scorpion - 2 choices at lmf, one being miltek but i was always happy with the scorpion on my mk3 so it won the choice - i only went for a sports cat as upon inspecting the car i have a one piece cat and i expected a 2 piece. so while i was still at lmf i decided i may as well finish the job with an exhaust hence i ended up walking out with summit else.

    vxr turbo courtesy of stumpy

so i guess im soon ready for a wow factor when i combine the cs3 with:

precat rep pipe, 200 sports cat, scorpion system, vxr turbo, airbox mods with enlarged pipe and the pace fmic - be quite interested to see what figures i produce on the remap day - feel free to guess away - nearest guess gets a beer at pv

That looks like a blueflame exhaust to me mate. I have a blue flame cat-back which looks just like that?...

How much was the one piece sports cat?...

287 bhp, bring on that beer!

Is the VXR turbo a direct swap for the original unit?

yep - direct swap - just have to move the coolent feed around, sports cat was 300 ish from lmf which apparantly are from the same supplier that courtenay use ( as is the pre cat pipe ) but alot cheaper then another brand named tuner

so the cs3 indicated 260 - 280bhp is basically more likely to get the minimum figure advertised ?.

gav/mystery machine was down there today and after a remap and rr they decided he wasnt gonne leave there unless they hit a certain figure due to a bad map which went in
