Decent reasonably priced 2.2 exhaust system

I think that my Irmscher back bx may have died leaving a rather expensive replacement of around £300 or just buy a stainless system.

Anyone give me any pointers towards a decent, fairly priced system for my ol' girl

    Cheers

    Ben

    Right

Anything listed for a 2.0 or 1.8 will fit straight on a 2.2 - the moutings and everything is exactly the same. So it's pretty much down to tail pipe design

I've got a Janspeed on mine, and the reason I asked about rear aprons etc, it that some aftermarket ones sit in a different place under the back bumper to an irmscher/standard, so may need some adjustment. but being as your's is unfettles, you have no probs.

Mine - lovley and subtle sounding and slightly wonky in hommage to the irmscher box .

nice one, gonna get the car up on a jack tomoz and check it out, if the back box is ok (which i hope is the case) and the centre section is doomed...

    might get one of these

Irmscher back boxes should last for ages, and it's usually the centre section that goes.

Incidentally Irmscher back boxes are made by remus - so that will work perfectly with an Irmy box
