wizard of nos, astra coupe 2.2

it seems us lot are all going for the same mods (pre cat, zaust, chip, air box ect) adding a few bhp at a time, then there is the other extreme for £5000 to have a super or turbo charger fitted...
no one seems to talk about having a nos system fitted costing about £500 and large bhp increases??
are these systems not safe or is any1 out there that has this fited and are happy
    any thoughts or comments welcome

Wizards of Nos are the best you can get system wise just make sure you add a controller to the system to safeguard your engine a little more.

perfectly safe if fitted right and used right

they aint hard to fit as i did my own install on my zetec-s and it ran fine

on your car you will get away with 50 bhp jets without a controller but with a controller your looking at 100bhp extra easy

only problem i had with my kit was the constant re-fills and they aint cheap

but still a great mod to have all the same

NOS will be added to my M3 once the charger is on to top the 550bhp mark. Its perfectly safe and i wont run mine with a controller.

Insurance wise its fine, mine are cool with it if i display the mandatory gas on board sticker for the emergency services, and its not armed on the public highway, just leave the switch in the off position. Not sure how they would know the latter though so your guess is as good as mine !

That's odd - elephant wouldn't insure me because I'd more than 6 mods on my car
