    Unhappy astra mk4 1.6 16v e m light on

    hiya been lovin my car astra mk4 1.6 16v sxi recently driving home engine light comes on loss of power manage to get back to camp engine rattling took it to the garage guy hooked it up to diag machine day later went back said it needs a new ignition module and a set of spark plugs cudnt afford module, so didnt drive the car and changed spark plugs no change about to fork out 160 quid for module gud or bad idea cant really afford to throw money away if it dont work soz bout the long thread but desperate!!

    If it needs a new ignition module, then that's what it needs.

    But save yourself a wad of cash and give www.autovaux.com a bell and see what they can do you one for. It's easy enough to fit yourself.

    nice 1 mate but jus bought module everything runnin gud now so happy jus dnt trust most of the mechanics out there they wanted 160 for the module and extra 30 quid to fit got the part for 130 and did it my self rip off or wot

    Coil packs can be very inconvientent when they pack in
