    Any Financial Advisers? Help

Just about to sell my Ibiza Cupra TDi, im starting a new business in summer and needed to free up the capital, im going to have £11,000 spare for at least 4 or 5 months, what is the best thing to do with it?

i have a savings account with First Direct which is pretty good, or would you suggest doing something else with it?

    any help would be appreciated

What sort of stuff do you buy and sell dr_shabzzz? I buy a fair bit of stuff and usually sell it on ebay, which has ranged from cds, bikes, car bits to sunglasses and clothes over the years. Just hit a bit of a dry spot and looking for inspiration. Looking into car audio at the moment, just having a bit of trouble getting suppliers on board as im fairly young and trading without a shop-front. You had any experiences of how to overcome this? Any help appreciated for a asspiring entrepreur (who needs to learn to spell it before he can do be one!)

In terms of the money for a guaranteed return look at 6month fixed deposit bonds, or ISAs are looking fairly high at the moment. It all comes down to risk and how much you are willing to take. Try www.moneysupermarket.com for some factual info. First Direct savings online saver is a pritty good rate, i got a fair bit in there myself. I would always advise using your ISA allowance first though, as the interest is gross not net.

Try www.williamhill.co.uk if you like high risk ventures! Can be a good way to make a raise if you're good though...
