    grill attachment - need help!

    Does anyone know how this grill is attached to the bonnet?

    Its fitted the same as the irmscher, fk, kamei grilles, you undo the 6 screws from the inside of the bonnet (back of the grille) and pop this into its place and reverse the procedure.

    only half right....


    you don't reverse the procedure.

    it has two threaded holes, one either end. you screw the provided grub screws into these threaded holes, leaving half their thread exposed. you then fit the grill into place and fasten the nuts onto the exposed grub screw thread.

    Grill didn;t come with any of this. Just came with mesh and the ABS grill?
    There are also no holes inwhich to mount the grill with?

    (this was bought from LMF)

    they are bonded into the aperture of where the grill sits with silkaflex, well Robs one did not sure where that came from though...

    smitht- that's odd.... mine came from lmf and had the two threaded holes at each end.

    perhaps you could use a bit of sikaflex and some self tapping screws?


    either that or call up lmf and ask them what the dealio is, i'm sure they'll be more than happy to help.
