    Exclamation Water in oil

I have a 2.2 16v engine and when i checked the oil there was a wee spot of water on the tip of the dip stick so I changed the oil and it came back so i took it to vauxhall garage and they told me it was just condensation in th engine. Does any1 else have this proplem or should it not have this problem i am just worried incase it does any damage to my engine.

Condensation is a common occurrence (rather than a problem) or winter, and perfectly normal for cars the only do shortish runs

Totally normal this time of the year.

I do a 4 mile trip to a from work, and it's been about 2 months since I've seen the temp guage move off the bottom.

Give then thing a really good run 20-30 miles.. These short trips are no good for an engine! If there's water in it then you've got a problem....

4 miles and you drive? Get a bike! Atleast in the summer!
