    MEGS scratch X.
Should work a treat on your dark paint work providing the scratches are not very deep

Because the majority of scratches aren't actually int he paint, they're int he clear coat, so by removing a proportion of the top coat, the scratch dissapears. Probably.

A scratch is only removable if it is in the clear coat and less than 30% through, more than that and you risk removing the UV inhibitors therefore clear coat failure can occur.

However, scratch x does not have mechanical abrasives instead it breaks down steadyily rounding the edge of the scratch removing it if shallow or just rounding the edges if deep which in turn makes it harder to spot as the sun has a more difficult surface to reflect from.

A paint chip cannot be removed it must have a touch up as it is more than likely through the clear coat if not right through the paint too and down to the primer.
