    Mk5 Sri Alloys on Mk4 ?

Right before anyone asks yes I have used the search but have found mixed outcomes to this. I've managed to get hold of a set of these off fleabay for my gsi

now before I go and spend wedge on a refurb and getting a new set of Toyo's for them I was wondering if anyone could confirm that they will definately fit ? I've seen them on rugrats gsi and he says his fit with no probs but after searching on the forums i've noticed that other people with these wheels don't seem to have the same luck ?!?!

    thanks

    Tay

Oh yeah should have noticed your sig

I was thinking along the lines of 215/35's for tyres cos i don't think i could get 225's on there anyone got any opinions on this ?

Yeh think thats prob your best bet for getting them to fit without modding the arches, best to ask someone whose got them on their car and see how they find them with regards to rubbing e.t.c.

tried fitting these to my coupe. had 225/40 tyres with a 60mm drop. and it was having none of it. went on fine but rubbed on the smallest of bumps, even just bumping off my drive at 5mph! so if you are going to do it with lowered suspension, get the smallest tyres you can get on.
