    Mrk4 Astra Gsi to what exactly.

    Ive been thinking, my warranty is almost up, and i dunno if i wanna keep the car or not. Glasses guide recons ill get 8250 for a mint condition, without wanting to pay anymore out wat could I get in part X? I hardly ever use the turbo, just now un again when driving, its fun, but should I go the diesel route? Slower I know, but cheaper overall. Its such a nice car, but I'll be gutted if I have to pay out on it. Shall I just get a new cdti corsa? Or something similar? Or keep my G and tune the tits out of it? :P

    U dont use the turbo? so u only use 0-1950rpm?

    Anyhow, its your choice bud, end of the day u have a nice car with loads of equipment, decent speed and good looks ... but not so good mpg (yet u said u dont flog it so ur mpg shouldnt be too bad) ... diesels are getting better and better, but it depends what u want.

    Tuning ur GSI or buying a diesel are complete opposite ends of the spectrum ...

    as in i never come into positive boost. Either outright nutter speed or...... not the 100ps version of the corsa diesel looks ok, trouble is im always worried about the bloody car. Dont scratch it, or mind the leather, circling to find a large parking space.

    Im the same with the T8, always park 4 miles away from the shops so nobody parks next to me. It's cos u love the car, so if u love the car .. why sell? just enjoy it.

    Only reason to sell "imo" is if ur bored of it or cant afford to run it.

    just cant stand to see it getting wrecked tbh. All those little scratches, marks on the leather... (how many times u gotta tell the woman not to slide into the seat). In two minds at the mo. Cs3.5 with vxr injectors and turbo :P might change things abit Last mota was a highly modded Vr6, running it is not the problem :P could be boredom?

    dependant on throttle position. Bugger to drive uphills without spinning the turbo when its still cold. Tailbacks :P
