    Thumbs Up ...will tipex work??

I'm about fit my angel eyes but before i do, i'm coating the tips of my leds to take away white spots...

Do you reckon a few layers of tipex on the tips willl do the job? If it works i can't see why i should go pay a few pound for a can of paint...none left at home!

Wanna get them fitted before its dark, for some nite pics

    thanks guys

Not for the Angel Eyes no, the loom is not required.

ok i've made a mistake...i've covered the whole of the top of the led (light emitting section)...i just read that you should paint only the very tip to diffuse the light sideways rather than forwards...

    how can i fix this?

I wouldn't use tippex, it'll flake off sooner rather than later. Just use a touchup pen you must have some lying around, and looking at others including mine you'd be better off doing a good few coats (only the very tip mind!) say 4-5 coats.

The problem is that these ultrabright leds have a narrower viewing angle and the light doesn't spread. I've been thinking whether its better to get just normal white leds as comparing their specs, they have a wider angle.
