    help with fitting an eco tek valve

    hi can anyone please help me im after fitting an ecotek valve to either one of my astras which ever is easiest or which ever anyone can help with will get it as my mate has one and sounds quite smart i have 2000 plate astra 2.0 sri and a 1998 s reg 1.6 8v astra

    it "sounds smart"?? its an asthmatic donkey sound maker! it bleeds from your brakes also, if it wasnt made of brass, id say burn it.

    it doesnt seem to mention on that site that they are banned from advertising it as mpg or performance enhancing. its just a brass valve ffs, i tried one years ago and took it off because of the shameful noise.

    thats the "new" edition, they describe it as performance enhancing, it "works" when off the throttle, so how does it make you go faster?

    so what, its like a dump valve? or needs a turbo/ supercharger?

    no its supposed to lean fuel out a bit (not good in any petrol car!) it taps into your brake line which in turn softens your brakes a tad, its really not worth the scrap metal its made from..
