You know when you get used to power increases....?

.... well, make sure that it is indeed simply because you got used to it. I just found out that I lost 30bhp, and probably have been running like this for months. Seems the AFM has gone again. I should have the new one tomorrow. Now go check your AFMs!!!!!

I was on a rolling road today. Air/fuel ratio was way for and a bit up and down. The ECU does not detect a fault unless it fails completely.

Yeap picked up a new one from LMF yesterday.

Tell tale signs on mine are normally when on a motorway then suddenly the car jerks and the TC lights stays on until ignition is switched off and on again.

Yeah, mine was doing that, but it was the ECU light (car with spanner), not the TC light. I didn't know that was AFM related.

I think that would be o2 sensor related.

hmmmmm mine did this yesterday !!!

it was only the first time and hasnt done it since. I was driving round time, came up to some traffice lights and i noticed the TC light was on... now i had my mrs in the car and never turn TC off. I tried the TC switch and didnt turn off the light until, like Clokey said, switched off ignition and then restarted!!

So i may need a new AFM then ??
