    help needed, boost probs

Just drove back from my girlfriends house and on the way back i gave it some down a motorway slip road, the boost went mental and went straight up to about 26 psi then held at about 18 then slowly droped down and held 15, i could hear the bearings in the turbo screaming I drove the rest of the way home off boost, it now seems to have gone back to normal but i dont want this to happena again.
Up untill then the car overboosts to about 20 psi then holds 15 psi up till 4k then drops to about 12 all holds that all the way to the redline, is this how it should have been on eds ph2.
The engine management light isnt on but the car seems a bit down on power mid range.

What turbo are you running? The standard turbo can't do those pressures can it? Those are the exact figures I'm running with CS3 and a VXR turbo.

Regarding the excess boost issues, possibly the actuator solenoid is to blame.
