    Folding Mirrors ??

    Hi, im new to astra sport, just wanna say hi to start off. And can i fit folding mirrors to my mk4 sxi, i think i have seen some on a mk4, and i know that the mk5 has them.

    Welcome mate, I dont think anyone has actually fitted folding mirrors to their mk4 as yet, there have been talk about it but thats about it iirc.

    It's in my plan, finding a donor car in a scrap yard is almost impossible for one side let alone two.

    And they're £100 plus per side for the Astra mk5 ones.

    Pardoe, i assume you don't park your car on the street overnight.
    I've had 3 smashed off, my GF has 2.

    yeah i do mean that ones that fold in. i know that you can push them in but sometimes i forget and thats the time they get knocked of by some delightful person.

    I have a complete manual "spare" pair in the loft, just in case.

    Yes, ForZiE. They fold in by hand. This is looking at folding them in electrically on the press of a button.
