    this may be completly ridiculous...

    i know insurance quotes are based on the area you live in, and the insurance group etc etc of your car...but...what i was wondering was...

    do insurance quotes have anything to do with your credit rating?? (since everything is interlinked nowadays)

    ...just a thought...

    I wouldn't put it past them, but seeing as i have absolutly no credit rating it couldn't affect me

    I think they do...........they sometimes ask if its ok to do a credit check

    ...there are ways of increasing your credit rating...xperian can clear it for you but that costs a bit...or there are other ways of increasing your credit rating without buying stuff...google it (not illegal, i would never do that!!)

    anyone work in insurance that can tell me if credit affects insurance?
