    does size matter

    just a quick question, im thinking of building 2 seperate boxs to run 2 12" subs but not sure on what size box would give better sound and bass

    anybody got any ideas ?

    yes, it does. the manufacture should be able to provide you with the correct enclosure sizes, and if it needs to be ported or not.

    What subs are they?

    bigger boxes give the sub more space to move therefore giving better bass, however get it too big and they will not move enough air. i'll try and search for a capacity for the 2 subs. but i would reckomend that you port the box as this will allow air to escape and also means the over all size can be reduced.

    ive been told expanding foam can solve the problem if the box is too big, is this true?
