    Side air bag sensor

Following some accident damage to the drivers door on the wifes astra i have obtained a door from a breakers which i fitted today!!!
However the old door had what looks like a side air bag sensor mounted in it.

It's not a problem removing the sensor but i cannot see the bit of loom needed for it in the replacement door.

Will it be tucked away or am i going to have to bite the bullet and remove the looms and swap them over?(the loom appears to have the connections in place for the electric mirrors)
How easy is it to remove the loom from a door and refit into the replacement one?
Will the car need tech2 ing to turn off the airbag warning light?

Your going to have to replace the loom on the door as they don't come wired in with it.

I'm sure as long as you disconnect the battery before unplugging the old door the air bag light won't come on
