    Hinge Pin Removal

Dunno if this is in the right place!!

Got a door to replace the damaged one on the wife's astra. It came off the donor car no probs. Came to take the damaged door off the wife's car and the hinge pins are corroded at the top. Used a pin removal tool and it took the lip off both pins. Managed to get the bottom pin out by hitting something up and pushing it through. Now need to remove the top one. However due to the shape of the door i cannot use the same method to push the pin down and out.
    Any ideas?

I usually use WD40 overnight then a pair of mole grips, and then tap them gently with a hammer. If the other pins are out, try getting someone to relieve the pressure on the pin by holiding the door.
