    whos done a z20let conversion

    has any one on here done a z20let conversion themself ? did you have any problems with things like wiring looms,fuel pipes,fuel tank ?

    also what about things like esp,abs,cruise control,air con has any one fitted these with there conversion?

    if anyone knows of any problems with doing the conversion can you let me know as i need to make sure i get everything ready to do it

    what car is the lump going into mate?
    also dose your one have abs,esp,cruise control,air con
    I fitted a z20let to a sri 2.0 an every thing worked fine the sri did not have cruise control or esp so i did not put that into it made it a lot easyer

    Haven't done it yet but is top of the priority list!!

    Mines a 1.8 mk4 on 2002 plate. I'm gonna be doing this myself with a few mates. Can't afford to pay regal or courtenay 5 grand!!

    its goin into a 2.0 td i will also be fitting air con,abs,esp,electric windows,cruise control,vauxhall alarm,t/c button,steering wheel controls,twin airbags i think thats it

    the reson ive asked about the looms is that ive got 2 dash looms one from a gsi and one that has susposed to of come from a sri turbo, they have got a few differant plugs on them ive got to try and work out what one is going to be best

    petrol into a diesel, isn't that a lot more work than your average conversion? Change of fuel tank etc

    yeah its loads of work complete rebuild nearly all the dash has to come out all the front end it will be down to a shell

    is it not cheaper to buy a GSi than it is to convert a diesel into a wannabee ?
