    Plastic engine cover

    Would i be able to get away with spraying the plastic cover with normal car spray? I want to colour code it to the car, but not sure if theres anypoint in it.

    Yes you can use normal rattle cans - but the key is in the preparation.

    yes you should be fine.. key it well though first. 1500 should work well to key it... scratch it up in straight lines 1 way, then straight lines at 90 degrees to the first lot.

    Prime it with plastic primer... or adhesion promoter (which is the better choice)

    Then spray away... Oh be sure to use some form of alcohol cleaner after the sanding.

    Laquer for a more durable finish

    Brill. cheers. All i need now is a Spare centre console. wanna spray that aswell, but need a spare one just incase.
