    2.2 engine

    In theroy it should be a straight forward job into a 1.6 16v astra, what do they go for?

    In theory...but not really.

    Suspension, gearbox, gear linkages, brakes, exhaust and all would need to be changed. Probably a fair bit of wiring too.

    bit of a pig brett, cable gearlinkages, complete new exhaust, the 2.2 is a engine on its own, the inlet and outlet are oposite sides etc, Z20 LET it mate!!!! much easier and better results

    Got a good price on a c20 let conversion today, but a 2.2 does leave you scope for a super charger in the future, I know the fundametals of what needs changing fir the conversion just thought it would be more straight forward plus the engine would be cheeper next to a z20 let
