    Lightbulb Switchable TC... again!

...before anyone says search , ive read every post on here! and im confused... seems to be lots of stuff like wiring it into something behind brake pedal, to being pre-wired, to being 1/2 wired up, to not being able to use 31 so use 25 or something.. so..

    Car: 2001 Astra 2.2 SRi (Phase1)

Im hopefully going to be doing this mod tomorrow (as long as looms in stock and my 2 local Vaux's)

just checked and my car is not pre-wired (no blue plug under panel)

therefore i will need the following:

    90437527 - TC switch
    90437593 - TC panel
    9270597 - TC loom

When i have all parts, i will have to feed loom from inside car outside, and connect it upto PIN31, then install button in dash.

are there any types on connnectors i need to connect wire into PIN31 or does the loom already come ready for wiring?

am i right in thinking this is all?

The loom will have the correct pin already on it mate. Don't believe you will have to put any connectors on yourself

As above the loom has three wires - one with the correct pin to go in the multi connector (pin 312). One with a ring connector which goes to earth - front passenger inner wing earth point.

The only bare wire is the one to illuminate the switch and this you'll need to splice into the light feed for the fag lighter

Nope it ties into the the dash light circuit so it lights up in the dark. When you switch TC off the light on the dash will illuminate to remind you.
