well it's not really worth changing over from a power perspective.... you will be able to get 280 out of a turbo coupe, but it's not especially cheap.

nicer cars imo, but that's totally down to personal taste.

If you can handle doing without the extra doors and the lovely V6 growl then go for it. The astra is a nicer car in most respects imo.

Depends what your really want from teh car, the two are pretty different. The Astra is more 'chuckable' and handling is always going to be better than a soloon that size. V6 and Turbo power are very different, and getting 280bhp from a turbo will coast a lot less than it has to get the same from your Vectra. I pesonally prefer the Astra, but then mines isnt an every day car and I dont use the rear seats often.......best thing you can do is a drive a few and see how you find them in comparison to your vectra.

Although i love my coupe turbo, my old veccy gsi did feel alot meatier and faster imo. Both great engines but as mentioned z20 let cheaper to tune.

Nice vectra mate. Any pics of the interior ?.

I have an 51 plate coupe running 255bhp (approx) that I am thinking of selling. I wouldn't want to swap as I actually need the money for another venture but if your interested in finding out more on mine, let me know.

    Thanks
