For starters you'll want to derestrict the air box. This has been covered loads of times so do a search on it. Also Fit a vectra C diesel air intake also covered under deresticting the air box. Theres even a how 2 on it which will guide you through everything. Get yourself a K&N panel filter for the time being as well. You may want to upgrade to a full on induction kit at a later date but this will certainly sort you out to begin with. If it ain't new or your dealer hasn't already done so then a service may be just the job as well.

    Hope that helps

    Hello welcome.....

Depends if you have a budget !

First stage would be to de-restrict the air box and fit a vectra-c air intake pipe...search the site for derestrict and you should find loads of answers...
Thats a cheap mod (derestrict = £0...veccy pip less than £15)

Then you having mapping to change the ecu...
Either a generic map or mapped to your car (which you may want to do if you fit other good mods, exhaust, intercooler etc)

have a look around the site see loads of questions like yours !

    as has been mentioned:

derestrict air box, panel filter, veccy c pipe. then check when the cambelt was last done (recommended its changed every 40k or sooner) check the brakes and change if needed. Do an oil change with fully synthetic oil and do this every 5000miles or sooner to keep the turbo happy, clean the throttle body with some carb cleaner.
Then I'd do exhaust and an FMIC, change the plugs for some denso's and the get a map setup.

    Jobs a goodun!

P.S. welcome and what colour is the car?

As per Darryl really. Keep the servicing up, get an exhaust, precat replacement, deristrict the airbox, vectra intake pipe. Then start thinking about front mounted intercoolers, remaps and the like.

Ultimately it's down to how much you would like to spend!

The first thing you have to do is get a precat replacement pipe on ! If you have the cash get a complete milltek system, do it . Then airbox/induction filter, Upgrade intercooler, upgrade turbo, remap. You can remap at any stage but it dont seem worth havin 3 remaps when you can have one !
