    Autosport - superchips

    i went to autosport and spoke to superchips they reckon they can add 10-12bhp to my car for £293 has anyone else done this? i have a z18xe engine with the veccy c pipe and de-restricted box with piper x panal filter. can anyone advise is it worth doin ?

    i would spend that money on a cat back exhaust first mate as a superchip on a na car dont give a lot of power
    spend the cash on hardware mods first

    ahh it's not really about the power with superchips, i superchipped my 1.8 sport and the car was a whole lot more drivable and smooth, I then added a short shift linkage and it was superb. Exhaust first and then a chip for making it all work smoother just don;t expect a massive hike in power and torque
