    Question Electric Mirrors

Can anyone tell me if its likely that i have the wiring already in place for electric mirrors?..

Currently ive just got the standard type on my 2001 sri, bit of a poor show i know but hey i didnt spec it.

Im going to install electric ones as soon as i find out. I dont know if to use the standard type or them m3 style ones... Could you peeps share your opinion on the m3 style mirrors on a Astra as im not 100% on them.

    Whats Your Opinion?

    Cool or Crap idea?

pull off the tweeter cover and the plastic facia over the door handle and look for the wires with no connectors, best way to find out, mine were there on my 1.8 sport, being a SRi id say 99.9% certain itll be there

M3's would look OK if they sat parallel to the ground, but only the very expensive Irmscher or Steinmetz do - all the other cheap ones stick up like sheep's ears and are IMO best avoided.

    Stay standard

The only M3 style mirrors that seem to look good on an Astra are the Irmscher ones.
52 Astra G 1.8, 18" Mille Miglia alloys, 325mm Brembo 4 pot conversion, Coupe leather interior, Raid strut brace, Whiteline rear ARB, Irmscher bits (skirts, Carbon steering wheel, Bonnet extension, M3 mirrors, boot & roof spoiler), Reiger Rear Diffuser & Front Bumper, Koni Adj. dampers, 35/30 Vogtland springs, Duplex quad exit ASCAR stainless exhaust.
