    rear brakes

    anyone know where i can get cheap standard disks and pads for my 2.2 sri is vauxhall the cheapest place ?

    not sure about chepest but id always go for OEM if i was sticking to stock equipment. Got some pads done at ATS and got some weird noise as if a stone was stuck, never sorted it out, in the end went to VX and bought a set of disc and pads, prob solved.
    Patience is a virtue.....but if you're that desperate I guess you'll have to pee your pants!

    As above - It's not wise to skimp on brakes. Get genuine stuff if you're sticking with a standard setup

    yeh approx for both... well heres an example for when i owned a corsa C, front disc and pads (as they onli do em as a set) cost £150 iirc. I thought sod that, went to the bigger VX with a big warehouse type stock room and bought the disc and pad set for £75.

    So to fit a pair of front disc and pads vx wanted 75 quid!!
