    Some pictures of the Asta now lowered (56k put some toast on)

    Here she is on standard ride height:




    So on New Years Eve, I got together some tools and my Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs and set about getting the suspension on the Astra the way Vauxhall should have done it:

    and all finished:




    Also managed to pick up my drilled and grooved rear discs today that I won off ebay, so possible caliper painting and disc fitting tomorow.

    Looks nice was going to say discs look a bit ropey

    Still deciding what to do with the fronts, might just go for some EBC discs and pads at the moment, although I was thinking about a 4-pot upgrade but I need to ideally get the wheels sorted out before that as the current ones have 3 out of 4 kerbed.

    thats looking sweet now, as you say what vaux should of done at the start!

    take it the handling has improved no end?

    Much better, the std ride height is far too high on them. Not wasting any time with the mods anyway

    Handking is tightened up a lot, its biggest problem in standard form is too much bodyroll,this is all but eliminated but without scraficing ride.
